Hard Rock Hotel Penang is a luxury resort that has recently opened along the Batu Ferringhi beach in Penang.
It is located on the site of the previous Casuarina Beach Resort, where the new owners HPL Hotels & Resorts have invested RM150 million to create the new rock and roll music-oriented hotel.
MUSIC THEME RESORT
You can find Michael Jackson sitting in the car park, the Beatles greeting you at the lobby and a showcase of interesting memorabilia from famous music celebrities including local starts Ella and Zainal Abidin.
There’s also a massive 18 ft giant guitar at the entrance which “is what defines Hard Rock” said John Primmer, General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel Penang.
Hard Rock Penang is the first Hard Rock Hotel in Malaysia and it is expected to contribute up to RM10 million to Penang’s economy.
